As part of your work, you will deal with practical and technologically demanding questions. Before starting, we work together to develop the specific scope of functions and the research focus – adapted to your previous knowledge, interests and research priorities You will develop a feasibility analysis of innovative software functions on AURIX Embedded Controller and Mali GPU, e.g. for image processing, 3D visualizations or similar high-performance applications In doing so, you conduct a target application analysis, study of resource handling and identification of performance limits of modern embedded platforms This thesis gives you the chance to explore and actively develop state-of-the-art embedded technologies at hands‐on

You study computer science, electrical engineering, mechatronics or a comparable course of studies Safe handling of Linux operating systems Good knowledge of C++ and Python, basic knowledge of Qt/QML Ideally experience in hardware-related programming in C Team player qualities as well as an open and collegial approach characterize you Joy of self-responsible work and high self-initiative Safe handling of MS Office as well as reliable German and good English skills
