Number: MER0003ZXT The RD/KII department, headed by Marcus Fiege, is responsible for the cross-sectoral development of interior components and systems, from the A- to the S-Class. In addition to the development of new projects, this also includes series support and of course also the numerous model care systems. Components and assemblies which are supervised by RD/KII are as follows: Steering wheels Roof operating units Parts of ornaments Internal light components

The legal objective of the subject area for the future is the implementation of 'Lessons Learned'' in standardized designs and concepts to improve the quality of the products, while reducing component costs and costs in assembly. Ensuring maximum customer benefit with respect to ergonomics, function, comfort, value, quality, cost and weight has the highest priority. Your tasks in detail: Working in day-to-day business, e.g. in the planning, implementation and documentation of material checks Independent planning and execution of measurement series and the development of solutions Support of development databases Documentation of work and measurement results and preparation of decision templates Coordination of vehicle reconstructions Cooperation with internal and external partners (development, suppliers, production) The activity can begin from April 2026.

You are in an ongoing bachelor's or master's degree programme focusing on mechanical engineering, process engineering, aerospace technology or a comparable degree course You have certain knowledge of German and English in word and writing You bring safe handling of MS Office You are self-organized and brings passion to the team You have a general technical understanding, strong curiosity and a high level of readiness You own an EU licence class B (car) Additional information: We are looking forward to your online application with CV, lettering, certificates, current enrollment certificate with a specification of the semester, if necessary.
