The fulfillment of the extensive radiation protection-relevant duties of the radiation-protection person in close cooperation with all relevant professional groups The design of necessary adaptations and the regular further development of the radiation protection organisation and the appointment of radiation protection officers Examination and approval of the use of radioactive substances and ionizing radiation in humans for medical research Activity as the person entrusted with safety tasks according to the SEWD Directive and the contact person for the radiation protection supervisory authority Monitoring and control of compliance with radiation protection regulations, regulatory requirements and approvals

Master's degree in physics, medical physics or corresponding engineering specialist in radiation protection as a medical physics expert or Medical Physics Expert (MPE) as well as good knowledge of hospital operation Extensive experience in administrative radiation protection (acquisition and display procedures, communication with authorities, monitoring of audits) Practical experience with the organisation and implementation of operational radiation protection measures Extensive care, reliability and sense of responsibility combined with high self-motivation, independent working, team skills and good English skills
