Category Manager (m/w/d)

We are looking for a category manager (m/w/d) in the field of travel management for our customers, an internationally operating company in the field of plant and mechanical engineering, based in Oelde. The place shall be occupied at the next possible time, initially for six months. Working full time (35 h). Your passion for travel meets strategic challenges? Responsibility with vision - analysis and optimization: You analyze assigned travel management categories and ensure that the best value for money is always guaranteed - interface management: As a central contact person for travel agencies, especially in Germany, you clarify operational questions and develop the travel program further with regard to efficiency, value added and sustainability - Strategic design: You develop and implement the global strategy for the credit card program, tailored to corporate culture, guidelines and spending parameters - Innovation and solutions: By investigating and introducing best practice payment solutions, you opt for global credit card management - communication and enforcement: With your presentation and conviction skills, you identify challenges, present solutions and implement them across the company - compliance and reporting: You implement processes to comply with travel policies, define KPIs, and launch reports as well as dashboards that enable managers and stakeholders to make informed decisions

Your profile: Designer and Innovator sought - Qualifications: You have a university degree in business, travel management, finance or comparable training - technical know-how: You are versed in dealing with online booking tools (e.g. SAP Concur) and brings experience in the development of RFPs as well as in negotiations with - communication strength: Your excellent presentation and communication skills set new standards - dynamics and initiative: You are a creator who drives changes independently and masters change and project management - Teamplayer: You like to work across functions and bring strong interpersonal skills - languages and mobility: flowing knowledge of German and English as well as readiness to travel globally round your profile
