The central task of the subsidiary metals department is to further process valuable metal-containing intermediates by suitable pyrometallurgical and hydrometallurgical processes. The focus is on highest quality standards. The resulting products are refined to sellable end products. For the management and further development of the subsidiary metals department, as well as ensuring a safety, quality and environmentally sound processing of the value-metal-containing materials, we are looking for you at the Hamburg location for 1 year in a limited period.

Responsibility for shift operation: planning of personnel use, ensuring a smooth production process, in particular with regard to plant availability, productivity and quality and coordination of shift transfer. leadership & development of the team: guidance, instruction and promotion of employees; Implementation of annual discussions and development of representation solutions. Monitoring of production processes: control of product quality, ensuring operationally safe plant condition and initiating and coordinating maintenance measures. KPI-based control: Work with relevant KPIs to achieve and derive appropriate measures. Ensuring order & safety: implementation of occupational safety requirements, organisation of instruction and regular tours to comply with environmental, safety and quality standards. Interface management: Close cooperation with other departments and communication as a link between employees and management level. Administrative tasks: creation of permits, notifications and orders as well as documentation in the shift report. Design and further development: Promoting active participation in the continuous improvement process (CDP) and participation in the further development of processes and processes in the area of responsibility. Special assignment functions: take over the role as a hazardous goods and inventory officer with responsibility for compliance with relevant requirements and standards.

Complete vocational training as a procedural mechanic, chemical or in a comparable technical field. Further qualification as master in chemistry or another technical field. Multiannual leadership experience (min. 3 years) after successful completion of master qualification. Basic knowledge of relevant systems such as MES, SAP, LIMS, PI, Freelance, MS Office and ATOSS are desirable.
