Azure-Platform Engineer (m/w/d)

As a platform engineer (m/w/d) in the Microsoft environment, you are responsible for the planning, implementation and maintenance of platform solutions based on Microsoft technologies. They work closely with other teams to provide a stable, scalable and performant platform that meets the company's requirements. You are a technical expert (m/w/d) for Microsoft-based infrastructure and DevOps practices. The aim is a data-based decision-making and fact-based support for the departments. Their task is to gain valuable insights that contribute to improving business processes and optimizing corporate strategy, and at the same time increase transparency within the KPI and PI landscape.

Architecture and Design: Designing and implementing robust, scalable platform solutions with Microsoft technologies (e.g. Azure, Windows Server, SQL Server, PowerShell) Automation & DevOps: Automation of processes and workflows with DevOps tools (e.g. Azure DevOps, PowerShell, Ansible) to ensure efficiency and scalability Cloud infrastructure: monitoring and maintenance of cloud-based platforms on Microsoft Azure, including virtual machines, storage, networking and cloud services Integration and Deployment: Integration of Microsoft-based applications and systems as well as continuous deployment and monitoring Security & Compliance: Ensure that all platform solutions meet security standards and compliance requirements Troubleshooting and troubleshooting in infrastructure problems and continuous optimization of platform performance Documentation and reporting: Create and maintain technical documentation and reports for all platform solutions

Complete study of computer science, mathematics, data science or comparable as well as experience in the administration and implementation of platform solutions in the Microsoft environment Knowledge of working with Microsoft Azure (e.g. Azure Compute, Networking, Storage and Entra ID) and Databricks Experience in the automation of infrastructure processes, preferably with PowerShell, of advantage Professional experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices as well as network management and security in a cloud environment is desirable Database and Data Management Knowledge (e.g. SQL Server, Cosmos DB) Knowledge of Monitoring and Logging Solutions (Power BI REST APIs, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics) Projektmanager (m/w/d) with strong communication skills and analytical approach Good knowledge of German and English
