EHS-Specialist (Technical) (m/f/d)

As an EHS specialist, you represent the interests of the environment, health and safety sectors and support the operation in all EHS-relevant issues. Together we work to continuously improve our technical processes and ensure the highest safety and quality standards. At the next time we are looking for an EHS Specialist (m/w/d) at the Ludwigshafen site with the following tasks: Building and promoting an open security culture and ensuring the implementation of all EHS standards, legal requirements and behavioral security programs Implementation, maintenance and further development of EHS management systems, including reporting, documentation and maintenance of safety-relevant databases Planning, implementation and moderation of EHS training, instruction, workshops and security communication (e.g. Lessons Learned, One-Pager) Creation, updating and management of central EHS documents, including risk assessments, operating instructions, safety concepts, hazardous substances and noise disasters carrying out risk analyses, event studies and effectiveness checks, including derivation, follow-up and assessment of measures Organisation and monitoring of safety-relevant activities such as safety tours, SOS audits, HAZOP studies, technical risk assessments and plant change processes Close cooperation with the management and professional management of the safety and health officers, including support for operator obligations (BImSchG, StörfallV) and participation in EHS networks and committees

PROFIL Completed training in a production-oriented, technical environment (e.g. industrial master) Multiannual professional experience in production/technology and in the EHS sector, ideally in the chemical industry, including knowledge of plant safety (e.g. explosion and fire protection) Practical experience in dealing with licences such as work, fire and travel permits Advantage: Experience as a safety and health officer (SiGeBe) Knowledge of the handling of dangerous substances, risk assessments and personal protective equipment (PSA) Safe handling of presentation and moderation techniques and strong communicative skills in German
