Type of employment: Unlimited Working time: Full time Place of work: Dresden As an expert wafer test engineering, you are responsible for the design and provision of test and characterization solutions for the wafer test with the aim of a fast technology transfer and rapid reliability, quality and yield optimization. Design suitable test chip structures or designs for critical technology complexes, create the test programs and accompany their use for technology characterization. From the results of the data analysis, you characterize test failures regarding their cause in the test conditions, technology or circuit design, bring your results and expertise actively into the work of the project teams and control the problem solving process. You will find suitable test conditions for error localization based on your analyses or, together with the respective specialist departments, drive the optimization of the test program or design. With your expertise, you are the contact person for series production in projects for reliability, quality and yield optimization, as well as in complex questions and approvals for test programs and test hardware.

Training: successfully completed technical university studies in the field of electrical engineering, information technology, physics or comparable discipline experience and know-how: long-term professional experience in the PCM or wafer test or in the characterization of semiconductor components; very good knowledge of analog and digital circuit technology, basic understanding of current ASIC and MEMS technologies, a very good understanding of the test programming and the test contents as well as statistical analysis methods, affinity for work in demanding IT & automation environments, ideally basic programming knowledge in a script language, e.g. python and experience in C/C++ Personality and working methods: team-ready, durable and communication-strong, very good organizational and problem-solving capability as well as strong quality awareness Languages: very good German and English skills
