Your duties The research group “Tribology” examines tribological systems in fluid technology applications and analyses the underlying mechanisms of action in friction, lubrication and wear contacts across different abstraction levels. To strengthen our team, we are currently looking for a scientific co-worker or a scientific co-worker as part of a DFG-funded research project. The aim of the project is to model the tribological behavior of ground and coated piston rods in translational sealing systems. The focus is in particular on the relationships between manufacturing processes, surface properties and the behavior in the sealing contact.
