You analyse regulatory, technical and technical requirements for central clients of a CBDC payment system, in particular for user interfaces (U2A) and the security mechanisms as well as the corresponding backend accesses, and transfer them to consistent system and interface specifications. You model complex system architectures and data flows (e.g. using data flow diagrams or state and sequence models) to make dependencies, critical paths, design and risk decisions transparent and to match other stakeholders. You design and evaluate security tools for user access to the civil society system, in particular by system-atical Threat Modeling, as well as the derivation of appropriate security requirements and countermeasures. You design, evaluate and imple­ment safe authentication and auto­cating mechanisms as well as APIs and intersections taking into account confidentiality, integrity, authenticity and non-disputability. Integrierst cryptographic signatures/encryptions and security protocols (e.g. OAuth2/OIDC, mTLS) into the system architecture and ensure their correct application. You design and accompany functional, safety-relevant tests (e.g. Abuse Cases, Penetration Tests) as well as non-Functional tests and systematically test their results. You work in interdisciplinary teams with other EU central banks as well as with external partners and the ECB in the international project and brings your expertise into agile development processes.
