Mechatronics technician for refrigeration technology (m/f/d)

You are responsible for the operation, maintenance and repair of refrigeration, air conditioning and ventilation systems in the (change) shift service. These include large air conditioning systems with cold water systems, compression and absorption refrigeration machines, split air conditioning systems and ventilation systems. You monitor and operate the plant using the central building automation (Firma Sauter). You shall be responsible for carrying out audits including documentation in accordance with relevant regulations. You carry out extensive work from special occasions in other fields. Participation in regular and ongoing training and training is expected. You work in cramped environments, e.g. creepers, regularly lift loads up to approx. 25 kilograms and work in situ on climbing ladders. A grouping takes place (up to) in the E 7 category of remuneration for the public service (TVöD). The activities shall be carried out at the place of service. Full time or part time is possible. The place shall be occupied at 01.11.2026.

You have completed vocational training for mechatronics and/or mechatronics (m/w/d) for refrigeration as an alternative to plant mechanic and/or Projektmanager (m/w/d) für Sanitary, Heating und Klimatechnik. You are in favour of the fundamental freedom of democracy within the meaning of the Basic Law. You agree to participate in a health fitness assessment and an extended safety review under the German Security Audit Act. The necessary safety review of T2 classified information is mandatory for the occupation of the designated body. You have a class B driving licence and the willingness to acquire the Bundeswehr driving licence B and to carry out a service vehicle. Required You have certificate certificates of the corresponding category that you are entitled to exercise the aforementioned activities at the respective facilities (company Sauter), or you are willing to acquire them in a timely manner by means of training after commencement of service. You have a multi-year professional experience in the field of maintenance, maintenance and monitoring of refrigeration, air conditioning and ventilation systems as well as system operation and monitoring by building control technology.

It expects an attractive salary according to the public service collective agreement (TVöD). A grouping takes place (up to) in the E7 TVöD group. In order to cover the personnel requirements of qualified personnel, employees may, in accordance with § 16 para. 6 TvöD, by way of derogation from the collective agreement classification, one up to two levels of higher remuneration shall be granted wholly or partially. The allowance may be terminated. .
