DISTRIBUTION

In the clinic for children and youth medicine approx. 1,200 stationary as well as 2,500 outpatient patients with a wide range of disciplines including cross-disciplinary disorders (surgery, traumatology, gynecology). With 20 beds we ensure comprehensive and competent care for patients throughout the spectrum of general paediatrics. Priorities are the general paediatrics, treatment and care of sick newborns and earlyborns of the completed 32. SSW with a birth weight above 1500 g, pulmology/allergology and paediatric sleep medicine. Diagnostic possibilities and basic care also extend to areas of endocrinology, neurology, gastroenterology, cardiology, nephrology. The care of children with general and visceral surgery as well as traumatological/orthopaedic diseases is also carried out together with the specialist disciplines in our institution. In addition to the emergency care of outpatient patients, outpatient consultations and investigations of children and adolescents take place in a paediatric pulmonary special session.
