The "Commerce Platform" domain is responsible for all commercial aspects. Our Team Cost Management develops services that collect consumption data from our customers, prepare them transparently and thus lay the basis for billing. We are the central interface for the monetization of our cloud. We work closely with all product teams. Our domain includes Customer Management and Product Information Management teams.

For 2025, we plan to build a new analytics platform that gives our customers insights into their consumption data and related data It will cost. In addition to scaling for our expected growth, the new platform will also enable continuously evaluated, analytical applications. We need you in our team. Do you like this challenge?

Your tasks

• As part of a small, ready-to-be team, you are responsible for everything from concept, design, implementation to operation (“You build it, you run it”)
• Together with the Product Owner, you will develop the product strategy with your team, meet requirements and plan their technical implementation
• To replace existing systems, you develop migration strategies and implement them
• You help our product teams to connect billing systems
• You permanently automate and optimize all technical processes
• As an experienced engineer, you support your younger colleagues to further expand their knowledge

Your profile

• We are looking for team players with heart and mind who like to challenge the status quo and constantly develop themselves and their team
• In a dynamically growing company you feel comfortable even though or just because there is not yet a process for everything
• Agile software development is your thing as well as enthusiasm for cloud technologies
• You can also work strongly conceptually and express your thoughts and ideas in writing
• You have played a key role in the development of distributed and mission-critical systems in your career, and you have also operated them
• As an experienced engineer you have ideally used Go in production and know the language and its correct use
• Alternatively, you know yourself well with a different language like Java, Kotlin or Rust and want to learn Go
• Also tools like terraform, plumi and helmet are not unknown to you
• You know with analytics platforms for large amounts of data
• Modern technologies for cloud-native analytic platforms such as Apache Iceberg are not strange to you
• Ideally you have experience with event-based systems and the necessary technologies for stream processing
• Knowledge about FinOps standards are very welcome, but no need
