The experimental facilities and infrastructure department shall establish and operate test rigs and provide high-quality experimental data for the research and development of electrified aeronautical drives. You run the experimental facilities and infrastructure department at the institute. Your tasks disciplinary guidance of the assigned personnel Scientific management, development and investigation of research topics relating to the realistic investigation of components into newly designed test bench structures responsible management of the HepCo test environment with the test bench structures located therein, their design, implementation, operation and scientific-technical control responsible management of research projects at national and European level Design and control of strategy processes and management of the department Representatives of the institution and DLR to partners from business, science, politics and authorities

completed scientific university studies (Master / Diplom Uni) of the natural sciences (e.g. Department of Physics) or of engineering (e.g. from the fields of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering) or other studies relevant to the activity with a focus on aerospace technology proven many years of experience in the planning and implementation of experimental aviation projects or similar projects in large research facilities with proven management responsibility for acquisition, personnel, budgets, dates and scientific quality Multiannual experience in the design and construction of research rigs detectable knowledge in the field of drive technology, ideally including novel, electrified drives, complemented by basic knowledge from mechanics Knowledge of quality management knowledge of German and English in word and writing The grouping takes place depending on the qualification and task transfer up to 15 TVöD.
