You will be part of the Cloud & System Engineering department. Colleagues are responsible for the Viridium Group’s cloud and on-premise landscape and ensure reliable, secure operation of central specialist applications. The team supports internal projects, modernizes existing applications and works on internal audits to meet security and compliance standards. The focus is on the integration of new technologies and the further expansion of the Viridium Group's cloud strategy & AI strategy. As a Technical Steward, you take responsibility for selected applications together with your colleagues and continuously develop the cloud architecture.

That's why this job could be interesting for you: End-to-end response You are the first contact person:in the applications you serve - from the infrastructure to the advice of the departments. You know “your” systems, understand dependencies and make decisions that shape the operation of these applications. Technological bandwidth Its role combines classic infrastructure, firewalls and network basic services with a modern Azure environment. Strategic impact For example, You help to further develop our landing zone concept and our Kubernetes platform services and find solutions for the hybrid management of on-prem and cloud. That would be your specific tasks Operation and further development of the supervised specialist applications You are responsible for the first technical:r contact person: the availability, stability and further development of the specialist applications assigned to you. You analyse disorders, coordinate their elimination across team and service provider boundaries and coordinate technical requirements with the specialist areas. Operation and development of hybrid infrastructure You continue to operate and develop the hybrid landscape from the OpenStack-based on-prem computing centre and Azure. These include providing, curing and updating systems and infrastructure, as well as ensuring consistent operation across both worlds. Further development of the platform and self-service offers You build the Linux-based platform together with your team, define standards and automate recurring tasks. You design and implement self-service functions that enable other teams to independently use platform services. Expansion of the cloud platform You develop the Azure environment technologically, in particular Kubernetes including ecosystem, AI Foundry and the Landing Zone concept. You drive hybrid management approaches that make on-prem and Azure uniform. Working in infrastructure and cloud projects As a GoTo Person, you take on technical responsibility in smaller projects for the development and development of internal IT, from conception to implementation to transfer to the company.

Study or training Complete study of (economic) informatics or comparable IT training. Professional experience in infrastructure/cloud operation Multiannual experience with the operation and further development of IT infrastructure, also in the cloud environment (Azure). You are familiar with the care of applications and infrastructure in a regulated environment. Linux and Automation Experience gained with the operation of Linux systems, preferably RHEL, and with the automation of recurring tasks (e.g. Infrastructure as Code, Scripting, CI/CD). Containers and Kubernetes Practical experience with the operation of container technologies and Kubernetes, including the associated ecosystem. Network and firewall Solid knowledge of network basic services (e.g. DNS, DHCP, routing) and the operation of firewalls. Very good German knowledge of Word and Writing (C2)
