The LVR-Archivberatungs- und Ausbildungszentrum (LVR-AFZ) advises and supports more than 600 non-governmental archives in the Rhineland on all issues relating to the archiving and operation of archives. With its consulting and training offering as well as diverse services, it makes an important contribution to securing and developing the Rhine archival landscape. As a student support, the LVR-AFZ's 12-member team will support you with a variety of archival tasks and get exciting insights into the work of the archive consulting. Your future tasks include: Development, retro conversion and editorial work the participation in the maintenance of the websites of the LVR-AFZ and the United Adelsarchive in the Rhineland support for the benefit conservation measures and the participation in the preparation and implementation of seminars. Immatrikulation in History What we need You have particular interest in the work in the archive as well as in the careful collection, order and administration of archived goods. Ideally, you have paleographic knowledge and are interested in working with historical manuscripts from 16 to 19 . Century.
