About us This role assumes the holistic responsibility for quality, quality assurance and EHS at the Ilmenau site. A sustainable quality culture is established in close cooperation with location and area management, the highest standards are guaranteed and continuous improvements along the entire value added are consistently promoted. Your duties Overall responsibility for quality management, quality assurance and EHS at the location Developing and ensuring an effective quality management system according to ISO 9001, including audits and management reviews Management of complaint, deviation and claim management in cooperation with customers, production, sales and supply chain Design of modern quality assurance, testing and measurement concepts (including AQP, testing planning, statistical methods) Active promotion of a location-wide quality and lean culture in cooperation with Lean Operations Professional and disciplinary responsibility for responsibility including resource and budget planning Your profile Complete university studies in the field of engineering, natural or economics or comparable Multiannual professional experience in quality management, quality assurance or production knowledge of QM systems, standards (e.g. ISO 9001) and common quality methods; Six-Sigma knowledge of advantage Experience in leadership or control functions and in cross-departmental cooperation Secure handling of SAP-QM and very good English skills Structured, analytical work combined with sense of responsibility and willingness to change Your Benefit As open as SCHOTT is for your further development, our offer of additional benefits is as extensive.
