Black Digits creates the technological foundation for digital freedom of choice in Europe. As an IT and digital division of the Schwarz Group, we develop and manage the IT infrastructures for the Lidl and Kaufland trade divisions as well as the Black Production and PreZero. At the same time, we act as an independent provider on the external market to support companies across Europe in their digital transformation. Advising and supporting the divisions (including Lidl & Kaufland) in the further development of innovative checkout solutions – from the integration of European Wallets to the integration of the Digital Euro as a further payment method Definition of the roadmap, piloting and integration around the Digital Euro as a future European payment solution and alternative, including wallet-based payment systems Own-sponsored operation and further development of existing systems as well as planning and organisation of the international introduction of new applications – in particular for the technological connection of the Digital Euro – taking into account specific hard, software and market requirements Ensuring compliance with international payment standards (including PCI DSS) and continuous process optimization, coupled with active market observation (especially the technical and regulatory requirements of the ECB) to derive recommendations for action for the long-term competitiveness of our payment platforms Management of cross-departmental projects, coordination of external partners and cooperation in a global team of experts with international stakeholdersA
