Senior Cloud Platform Engineer CI/CD & Kubernetes (m/f/d)

As a technical thinker, you create a modern CI/CD and platform landscape for new composite private customer applications. With cloud technologies, Kubernetes and databases, you can provide DevSecOps teams with secure, stable and automated applications and operate independently. You can support the teams when building and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines and integration into existing platforms. Together with Product Owners, Project and Portfolio Managers as well as other stakeholders, you will specify and prioritise requirements from the enablement and Platform ARTs, develop technical concepts and coordinate changes and their ART-internal implementation. Analyze existing pipelines and integrations and develop them. You use existing CI/CD modules and Self Services and decide when components are expanded or new solutions are created. You pilot new features and technical improvements for CI/CD platforms, runtime environments and the authentication of artifact transfers. You will prepare the results for implementation teams and deliver successful solutions in reusable enablement modules. Quality, stability, performance, observability, error analysis, migration, IT security and documentation are your responsibility. Regulatory requirements, safety standards and architecture guidelines translate into practical solutions and processes for automated pipelines and a continuous DevSecOps work. In the cross-art cooperation, you advise technical and professional stakeholders, guide Engineers professionally and start making decisions. You connect technology with business requirements and share your knowledge in workshops and communities as well as instructions, best practice guides and self services.

You bring multi-year professional experience as a platform, cloud, infrastructure or DevOps engineer as well as an IT-related study, an education or a comparable qualification. Structure, development and operation of CI/CD pipelines and automation solutions are guaranteed. Integrations with identity providers, messaging platforms, observability stacks and security mechanisms are used to make deployments and operating processes reproducible, transparent and scalable. Experience with infrastructure as code or comparable techniques for reusable modules and self services is advantageous. Kubernetes or comparable technologies as well as databases are sure to be used in productive applications. You understand the perspective of the user teams and understand how You effectively use provided services. You know AI technologies and their deployment options in the development and platform context and use them responsibly for operation, automation and analysis of operational and observability data. A good understanding of IT security, regulators, monitoring and stable platform operation complements your knowledge. Strategic thinking, self-responsibility and solution orientation characterize you. You use complex technical content to address, take professional leadership in cross-art cooperation and support DevSecOps teams by identifying, providing and developing suitable platform services, self services and CI/CD modules. Your knowledge of German corresponds at least to level B2, ideally C1.
