Production planning is part of the Board of Management Mercedes-Benz Cars Operations (MO) and is shaping the industrialization of our products worldwide. It forms the interface between development and production and ensures efficient series production and stable production processes. In the field of assembly technology at the Rastatt site, you will get exciting insights into the assembly planning of the current series and into new-type projects. You are actively working on topics related to production processes, digitalization and new technologies in assembly. These challenges include: Support in the planning, preparation and follow-up of appointments as well as in the tracking of measures in the areas of screwdriving and assembly service providers

Working with the introduction and further development of new assembly technologies (e.g. screwing technology, RFID)

Participation in projects for digitization of production (e.g. works assistance systems)

Support in the operational daily business of assembly technology

independent processing of small project tasks

In addition to participating in the team, you have the opportunity to introduce your own ideas and actively contribute to the further development of modern production processes. The activity can begin from September 2026.

Studies in a technical or economic-technical course of study, e.g. mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable subject

Interest in production processes and the automotive industry

Safe handling of MS Office, also with related AI applications

Good knowledge of German and English in word and writing

Analytical thinking and a structured working method

Engagement, initiative and team skills

Reliability and independent operation

First experiences in the area of digitalization or production environment are advantageous, but no prerequisite
