Our team is responsible for the control, coordination and planning of all the equipment contents of the Mercedes-Benz Large Cars (S-, GLS- and GLE-Class / Burner- and their battery-electric variants). We support the overall project leaders in the implementation of project requirements and compliance with project objectives. As an interface between development, design, sales, controlling, purchasing, production and quality, you will find an extensive insight into vehicle development at Mercedes-Benz-Cars with interesting and varied activities. We are responsible for managing a weekly panel of design-relevant development and cost issues. As an interface of the strategic project management to design, overall vehicle, component development and the business sectors, we coordinate the pre-control of design-relevant topics of the Mercedes-Benz Large Cars. As part of the project management, you will get deep insights into the cooperation of various areas of expertise, body management and the process of development processes. Support our team actively in the development of technology leaders in the premium segment of the automotive industry and get insight into the management of design-relevant development and cost issues. These challenges include: Support for operational project planning and control with focus on equipment management and coordination of design processes within the Mercedes-Benz Large Cars

With the help of the preparation and follow-up of the bodies Design Jour Fixe Large Cars and Steuerkreis Equipment Large Cars

Participation in project meetings and voting dates for defining vehicle and presentation content

Comparative development of competitive comparisons

Development of control levers and displaying potentials to reduce variants of component families

Support in the creation of management and decision documents

The activity can begin from March 2026.

Degree course in the field of economic engineering, economics, technically oriented economics, mechanical engineering or comparable degree course

Language knowledge: Secure German knowledge (at least B2) and English knowledge in word and writing

IT knowledge: Secure handling of MS-Office

Personal competencies: communication skills, team work, opinion

Other: openness to work in the field of planning and project management and interest in cross-border activities desirable
