IT Architect Mainframe (m/f/d)

You are responsible for the overall architecture in ART with a focus on our mainframe applications and develop viable architectural concepts for professional and technically complex requirements. In close cooperation with development teams, departments, product management and IT, you define integrated target architectures (API, interfaces, data flows) and ensure their consistent implementation in stable, scalable, performant and safe solutions. Together with Product Management, you translate complex technical and technical requirements into sustainable architecture concepts, Epics/Features/Enabler and solution design, creating a resilient basis for reflections and implementation in the development teams. As part of the management team, you coach developers and other technical roles in architecture and design issues, promote a common understanding of architecture principles and strategy in ART and support the introduction and use of modern technologies and tools. At the same time, the issue of quality and safety is very important to us. For the introduction of high-quality IT solutions, you establish appropriate standards, metrics and reviews.

Complete study of (economic) informatics, engineering or training in the IT sector or comparable qualification through relevant professional and project experience. You have experience in IT architecture projects or software projects, preferably in mainframe technology. Experiences with Gitlab as a DevSecOps platform are of advantage. You are able to derive a clear Architectural Runway from business strategy, roadmaps and Epics, to translate it into enabler, platform backlog and technical roadmaps. Experiences with agile methods in agile, scaled organisations, ideally based on SAFe, are advantageous. Experience in quality management including standard definition, test conception, automation, monitoring and continuous improvement. Competence to structure complex relationships, clearly prioritize and make informed, strategic decisions, coupled with sovereign and convincing appearance, as well as strong communication and conflict resolution capability. Very good knowledge of German in word and writing (min. B2-C1).
