You make sure our freight trains go safely and reliably. With your technical know-how, your sense of responsibility and your attention to detail, you make a decisive contribution to secure and smooth rail freight traffic.

For the reinforcement of our team, we are looking for a car master (m/w/d) for use in East Germany with a special focus on the Polish and Czech border. A varied activity with responsibility and direct contribution to a functioning rail freight transport awaits you. If desired, it is also possible to extend the field of application to a nationwide application. This allows us to find the suitable application model for you.

Your tasks

Car-technical investigations on full trains in rail freight transport – including brake samples according to current guidelines (Ril 91501 / VDV757) Ensuring the operational reliability and transportability of the cars, cargoes and intermodal loading units (e.g. containers) before departure – using suitable auxiliary and measuring means Control of compliance with all training criteria Detection, evaluation and documentation of technical deficiencies in freight wagons and the initiation of appropriate measures to eliminate defects Cooperation with drivers, maneuvering staff, dispatchers and workshops to ensure smooth operation

You have a full training as a car master or Tester freight wagon level 4. You will bring an additional qualification as a ranking companion. An authorization for carrying out brake samples is desirable, but no condition. Ideally, you bring first professional experience in combined traffic – this is beneficial, but no need. Your medical suitability according to VDV requirements is present or can be detected. You have a training in the field of hazardous goods and know the corresponding regulations and procedures. A valid passenger car licence is required for the exercise of the activity. Remarkable, but no need: You have a completed commercial-technical training and bring appropriate technical understanding. A place of residence in the Greater Saxony is of advantage.
