Geodata Manager / Geoinformatics Specialist (m/f/d)

Full time Eisenacher Str. 12, 34123 Kassel, Germany Your duties As a geodata manager, you are responsible for the operational support of the geoinformation system (GIS) including the data analysis and further development of the system and its interfaces. You create technical concepts and documentation in the GIS context, train internal and external users and secure the 1st level support as well as user advice. You actively participate in the introduction of new measurement and documentation methods and in the further development of the surveying processes. In coordination with internal areas and external partners, you take over the work preparation and disposition of construction sites as well as the measurement of cross-cutting equipment (electricity, gas, water, district heating, TK, lighting). In the locality, you collect and document installed assets in the civil engineering or inventory data of all divisions. You capture, continue and update the digital network documentation according to technical rules. In doing so, interpret, analyze and equalize building site dimensions with planning and inventory. Also create, edit and maintain inventory, scheme and overview plans. Your profile You have a Bachelor's degree in geoinformatics or comparable. Experience with GIS software (e.g. UT for ArcGIS / Esri systems), AutoCAD for technical drawings and surveying software (e.g. FX Survey) as well as knowledge in handling GNSS solutions and Tachymetry systems (Trimble/Leica). You are characterised by a pronounced team and cooperation capability, a safe occurrence and a high degree of self-responsibility with a careful and quality-oriented approach. You are open and have good understanding and a fundamental understanding of data models and relationships. There is a class B licence and the willingness to use regularly on construction sites.
