Your new site: Neurosurgery Our neurosurgical department at the Asklepios Westklinikum Hamburg is one of the most powerful clinics in the region with around 1,100 interventions per year and is equipped with state-of-the-art technology. We are looking for you as soon as possible Oberarzt (w/m/d) for our neurosurgery / pain therapy in full or part time.

• Use of state-of-the-art technology (neuronavigation, O-Arm, surgical microscopes, endoscopes for minimally invasive interventions)
• Responsibility for the comprehensive supply of stationary and outpatient patients: within the entire neurosurgery spectrum
• Supply of multimodal pain patients:inside and stationary MMST patients:inside
• Execution of the outpatient speech hour for pain patients:inside (incl. indication position, evaluation etc.)
• Introduction of diagnostics and conservative therapy within the concept of pain therapy
• Self-implementation of interventional pain therapy on CT / Multimodal pain therapy
• Technical management and support of the medical team as well as cooperation of clinical processes
• Active development of the department, the interdisciplinary intensive care unit and regional network structures
• Participation in neurosurgical background services

• Complete study of human medicine and German approval
• Specialist in neurosurgery with safe knowledge in standard interventions, spinal surgery and neurotraumatology
• Basic knowledge of spinal endoscopy, ideally DWG base certificate (master certificate of advantage)
• Experience or interest in the implantation of neuromodulators (SCS, vagus stimulation etc.)
• Leadership, team orientation and joy in interdisciplinary cooperation
• Self-employed, responsible and motivated work
• Respectful handling of patients: inside
