Your duties As a school/individual companion, you usually meet with your supporter in front of the school, the kindergarten or the training course and then accompany it through the everyday education. You will have different educational tasks: Guidance and support for self-employment Detecting and expanding individual skills provide structural and orientation aid Support for interactions with teachers or other students enable participation in school activities (e.g. class excursions, change of classroom, outdoor lessons) Promote mobility (e.g. support for wheelchair users in the school house or guidance for blind people) Emotional support, such as dismantling fears of contact (e.g. building a relationship and trust with the entrusted shooters as well as giving them courage/interests) and/or help in crisis situations (e.g. disarming the stress situation, help in withdrawing from the situation, contacting the appropriate contact person) Assisting in the use of tools Coordination with educators, teachers, lecturers or trainers
