Veterinarian (m/f/d)

We are looking for permanent representation at the earliest possible time to be 31. (m/w/d). The Veterinary and Food Inspectorate, embedded in the Department of Environment, Order and Sport, is responsible for the official monitoring of food in the city and for controls in the field of animal health and animal welfare. The animal health control and animal welfare department performs the comprehensive tasks for consumer health protection in animal health, animal by-products and animal welfare.

This is expected

• Observing the entire medical service, in particular:

• Control of traffic with animal by-products and associated plants

• Participation in the medical call service

• responsible tasks in preventing and combating animal diseases

This will bring you

• Approbation as a veterinarian
• knowledge in the field of animal diseases and animal welfare law of the amtstierarztservice and in administrative and regulatory law
• safe handling of Microsoft Office's common applications and ideally knowledge of working with Balvi iP
• professional experience in veterinary practice, particularly in the field of livestock, desirable
• High level of responsibility, resilience and stress resistance
• self-employed, committed and targeted working methods as well as distinct organisational capacity
