Practical semester in Industrial Engineering (m/f/d)

You support the planning, analysis and optimization of assembly processes in vehicle construction. When creating and updating assembly concepts, layouts and work systems, you actively work with them. To ensure efficient processes, you conduct time studies, process analysis and ergonomic evaluations. You prepare production attempts, accompany them and evaluate the results. To increase productivity, quality and process reliability, you will develop appropriate measures. You support the introduction of new products and variants in assembly as well as digital factory planning, layout planning and evaluation of process alternatives. You work closely with adjacent areas, such as production, quality, logistics and development. For decision support, you create evaluations, presentations and documentation. In various exciting projects, you take on various tasks.

You are currently studying in the field of industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, production technology or a comparable degree programme. You are interested in manufacturing and assembly technology and ideally bring together first knowledge in industrial engineering as well as in the production or vehicle environment. Your analytical thinking and team skills are your personal strengths and your high motivation as well as your own initiative is yours. Their mode of operation is characterized by process orientation and structure. With common IT applications, you can safely handle and first knowledge in CAD systems or MTM/REFA are advantageous. You have good knowledge of German and English in word and writing.
