Financial Controller / Project Controller (m/w/d)

With some 950 employees, the AGR Group is a medium-structural enterprise in the ownership of the Ruhr Regional Association (RVR). With our five business areas of circular economy and logistics, thermal treatment, landfill management, environmental services and secondary products, we make an important contribution to the safety of waste in the region. We gain electricity, steam, district heating and secondary raw materials from waste management.

They are our new “Anker” for the financial planning of the AGR Group in the Team Controlling and support projects from our comprehensive investment program. For example, you have information “firsthand” for both financial planning and project-related financing. You always have a look at the figures when creating a financial and balance sheet plan for the AGR mbH as a parent company of our group and are actively driving these processes forward. Project controlling is in your blood! They take over the independent creation of planning (budget, forecast) and monitoring of budget compliance in the context of individual projects in dialogue with business areas and project management. They develop the foundations for the implementation of project-related financing in cooperation with the team management and act proactively with commitment and enthusiasm! They act as an austerity partner for the management and participate in the preparation of presentations, decision-making documents or economic calculations. Teamwork is always in demand. For example, it is natural for you to support you as a “helping hand” in the annual planning process in interaction with the operating units.

The basis of your previous professional career is a successfully completed commercial training with a corresponding additional qualification or completed (special) university course of the business administration or a comparable course of study. They have experience in financial planning and liquidity management, project-related financing as well as sound knowledge of controlling processes (budgeting, cost reporting, etc.). A secure handling of SAP FI/CO (R/3 or S/4HANA) as well as initial knowledge in dealing with the SAP PSP system or other business intelligence tools such as QlikView help you implement your daily tasks. You convince us with your numerical affinity and your special understanding of economic relationships! As a team player, you will design your working day with your own initiative and communication strength, as this is e.g. especially asked when it comes to company-wide cooperation in major strategic projects.
