During your 3.5-year dual study in our IT at the Duisburg site, you will learn everything important for your task at TARGOBANK. We teach you the necessary knowledge in the different IT areas (e.g. object-oriented software development with C# and Java or in our legacy systems with Cobol). During your studies, you have the opportunity to actively participate in the tasks of the departments. You'll bring your ideas into cross-departmental projects. And if you're doing well, you will continue – like most of our dual students – after your takeover. As an important part of the TARGOBANK, you contribute directly to customer satisfaction - for example as a software developer*in.

After your Abitur or Fachabitur we make you fit for the professional life. We will teach you everything important about the topics (further) development and operation of IT applications as well as adaptation and further development of interfaces. You will also get a complete insight into the different IT processes of our bank. During your studies, you will study at the FOM in Düsseldorf on 2 days a week. And because you simply learn the most in practice, you are part of the team from the first day and you can try the learned directly. Regular feedback talks and the support of our students help you get better and better. To deepen your knowledge from practice, you participate in digital training and exciting seminars in our own training academy.

Bachelor's degree: After studying for 3.5 years, you will receive a Bachelor degree, valuable professional experience included. College: You are studying at the FOM in Düsseldorf on 2 days a week. The remaining 3 days a week you are actively working in your department. Tuition fees: We take your tuition fees. Compensation: 1st year: € 1,400; 2nd year: €1,470; 3rd year: € 1,550; 4th year: € 1,640. Homeoffice: In agreement with your leadership, you can also work from home after your first 12 months. Holiday: 30 days a year Education grant: You will receive an educational grant for e.g. a tablet to use our digital learning offer.
