Head of EHS, Sustainability, Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety (m/f/d)

In the course of an orderly follow-up planning, we are looking for a dedicated colleague for the further development and implementation of our EHS policy and sustainability strategy. The definition, analysis and monitoring of relevant key figures and the creation of a sustainability report according to CSRD are part of your activity. You conduct your team and commissioner at the individual locations in a disciplined or professional manner with a reporting line directly to the management. You support the further development of our certified integrated management system according to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, perform internal audits and take over the advice of employees and managers. You pursue legal obligations in the field of environmental, sustainability and occupational and health protection and keep an eye on international developments and regulatory requirements. Energy and waste management is in your department. You collect and evaluate environmental and labour protection-relevant data and propose optimization measures and moderate improvement activities You are internal contact for EHS questions and form the interface function for customers, suppliers and authorities and also advise our foreign offices. As part of the product-related environmental management, you are coordinating the compliance with legal requirements in the direction of material compliance (e.g. according to REACH, RoHS) with our development department and purchasing. The training and awareness of employees on environmental and occupational safety issues is your responsibility. You support risk assessments and instruction.

You have successfully completed an environmental or engineering studies and completed a further education as a safety specialist. Their multiannual professional experience in EHS management, direction of work and environmental protection, and ideally sustainability brings us forward. Experience in the care of international production sites from a production environment of small and medium series would be advantageous. You understand the link between economic, ecological and social interactions and the joy of cross-disciplinary work. Communication skills, sovereign appearance and persuasion combined with analytical thinking round off your profile. Good knowledge of English is indispensable.
