The Magdeburg networks are the regional electricity grid operator in the city area of the capital Magdeburg and provide more than 165,000 household, commercial and industrial customers with their 110, 30, 10 and 0.4 kV networks at all times safely and reliably with electrical energy. Networks Magdeburg GmbH was founded on 01.01.2007 and has since become a 100% subsidiary of Städtische Werke Magdeburg GmbH & Co. KG. Over 3,200 generation plants with an installed capacity of more than 92 MW feed their renewable energy electricity into our networks, which also makes an important contribution to the energy transition.

Participation and cooperation in working groups and specialised bodies (e.g. Association of Local Companies (VKU), Arbeitsgemeinschaft Raumnetz Operator Ost (Arge FNB Ost))

Tasks within the framework of the Arge FNB Ost Preparation, implementation and follow-up of meeting documents and appointments Coordination of internal working groups and participation in the relevant specialist groups Creation of position papers, work orders, circulatory decisions and other documents

Strategic and regulatory analyses Assessment of relevant legislative changes, regulatory requirements and publications (e.g. the German Federal Network Agency) for compliance and optimisation of regulatory requirements and for the implementation and further development of the business strategy deriving consequences, needs for action, strategic recommendations and the creation of decision-making templates for management

Preparation of analyses, protocols, evaluations and presentations Work on company reports Preparation, structuring and follow-up of appointments as well as processing of special strategic tasks and care of confidential topics Conducting research on topics of the energy transition

Strategic and project work Participation or management of internal and external (part-)projects Further development of the digitalization strategy for increasing the efficiency of workflows and for providing digital reports / dashboards

Complete studies in the field of economic engineering, energy, electrical engineering, energy technology or comparable qualifications Extensive experience in managing projects as well as professional experience in the energy sector Knowledge of SAP ISU and SAP S/4HANA desirable Ability to prepare complex technical issues in a precise and comprehensible manner Analytical, structured and independent working methods Sovereign appearance and pronounced communication capability
