To strengthen our product management team, we are currently looking for a product manager – PC-Hardware (m/w/d). In this role, you bring a broad understanding of PC configurations and component ecosystems and actively develop this area within our product management. You are the specialist for the interplay of parts always with the view of the performance of the overall system.

As a product manager – PC-Hardware (m/w/d), you are responsible for assortment, processes and supplier relationships in your product groups and at the same time introduces your system understanding to continuously improve our configuration offer. The focus is on product management – complemented by purchasing-related tasks such as negotiations and consolidation.

Your daily to-dos mainly include the following activities:

You take over the range strategy for PC components – from product selection and technical validation to compatibility testing to the further development of the overall portfolio You bring a holistic understanding of PC configurations; You don't think in individual components, but you realize how components interact in the system and use this knowledge to develop our configuration offer in a targeted manner. You take the Vendor Management for your product groups and are the main internal partner for manufacturers and distributors in all technical and commercial issues You conduct supplier negotiations on purchasing conditions, framework contracts, discounts and promotions, and thus continuously optimize our margin and availability You evaluate new products technically based with regard to compatibility, performance and processing quality You will keep market, trend and competitive developments in mind and derive assortment and price decisions You care and manage the articles of your product groups including technical details in our goods management system and online shop You actively promote the further development of our product management processes – from forecasting and reporting to cross-departmental cooperation with purchasing, production and service You are in close contact with other teams in the fields of purchasing, production and service to clarify product and availability issues at an early stage

As our ideal candidate, you bring the following skills and competencies:

You have completed training or studies with a commercial or technical focus (e.g. business management, economic engineering, computer science) or a comparable qualification You bring experience in product management, category management or purchasing, ideally in the field of PC hardware, consumer electronics or gaming You have a broad technical understanding of PC configurations and component ecosystems – you understand how parts play together and recognize where optimization potential lies You have experience in supplier negotiations and negotiate safely and targeted without losing sight of the technical perspective You think process-oriented, introduce your own ideas to optimize processes and drive their implementation forward independently You are also passionate about PC hardware, software and gaming and are constantly up-to-date about trends and new products Embossed communication skills and an independent, structured way of working are your strengths German and good knowledge of English
