The MEDIAN Klinik Sonnenwende is an acute psychiatric clinic with a regular care order. The entire spectrum of psychiatric diseases in adulthood is treated. The clinic has 155 employees and has 111 beds. The beds are distributed to a general psychiatry, a (part-closed) gerontopsychiatric as well as a (closed) guard station. The MEDIAN Klinik Sonnenwende is the center of a psychiatric care network, which also includes two day clinics, namely the MEDIAN Tagesklinik Neustadt a.d.Weinstraße with 25 seats and the MEDIAN Tagesklinik Leiningerland in Grünstadt with 20 seats and a psychiatric institusambulanz.
