Short presentation and your tasks

• overall management, organisation and further development of the OP area across all the disciplines mentioned
• Professional and disciplinary leadership of OP care and functional services
• Promoting a situational, value-aware and target-oriented leadership culture
• Ensure efficient surgical procedures taking into account quality, cost-effectiveness and patient safety
• Responsibility for personnel development, personnel deployment planning and staff retention
• Participation in projects, change processes and interdisciplinary control groups in the clinical context
• further development of nursing and organizational processes taking into account technical, legal and economic requirements
• Promoting constructive and trusting cooperation between all participating professional groups

Your responsibility

As a general management in the Central OP, you assume the organisational, personnel and professional responsibility for the operating areas of:

• General surgery
• Accident surgery
• Urology
• Heart-thorax surgery

In this central leadership function, you actively shape the further development of modern OP structures and bring your expertise into interdisciplinary control groups.

This is important in this job

• Completed nursing examination or recognition as surgical assistance (OTA) according to DKG with several years of professional experience in the OP
• Ideally completed studies in the field of care management or further training for station management according to DKG or the willingness to acquire this qualification
• Multiannual management experience in the OP field or in comparable structures
• Joy in leadership responsibility and interest in modern, situational employee leadership
