Teamlead Intraday Power Trading (w/m/d)

• Leadership of a team of intraday traders in 24/7 layers and trade experts who manage Central European countries

• Commercial performance and operational excellence in the field of quantitative algorithmic trading and continuous re-optimization of the Power-Asset portfolio

• Solid profit and loss performance and operational excellence across Europe, focusing on continuous intraday trading (both asset-backed as well as proprietary), aFRR and mFRR energy invitations and short-term exposure management in the field of renewable energies

• Work closely with Dispatching Centres, Commercial Technology Group and Power Delivery Management. Efficient communication with external stakeholders (ÜNB, NEMO, NRA...)

• Coordination of approaches with British and Nordic teams to improve trading performance and cooperation at Uniper

• Development of team members and structures to ensure succession planning and adaptation to new market challenges

• Provide expert knowledge on regulatory and compliance rules to ensure effective and safe operation

• Work effectively in a team environment by managing operational activities and project management to ensure efficient use of resources

• Including technical or economic studies or comparable qualifications

• Proven track record in trade (5-7 years) and first leadership experience (e.g. Functional Lead)

• Deep understanding of the European electricity market including short-term market channels, continuous trade and TSO rules

• Knowledge about ISMS, short-term operational requirements, compliance and regulatory rules

• Impressed operational leadership skills with the ability to structure work packages and team responsibility and promote diversity

• Embossed commercial orientation, excellent analytical skills with high accuracy and detail orientation

• Real team player driven by challenge and passion to deliver values and results in a changing environment

• English language skills in word and writing, German, Swedish or Dutch are advantageous

• Possibility to work predominantly in the Düsseldorf office
