Reference number: GF 2025/10 Would you like to use your craftsmanship in a technically demanding and socially relevant project? As a plant mechanicin / technicianin for ventilation and circulation, you will be part of a team engaged in the reconstruction of the research reactor BER II in Berlin-Wannsee. This project is characterised by high complexity, relevance and responsibility. In your role, you will ensure safe and trouble-free operation of the ventilation and circulation systems of the reactor. In addition to technical finesse, the ability to think across systems is also required. You can enjoy a versatile activity with great importance for the entire reconstruction project.

You carry out conversion measures and work together in the small team and with external service providers. You control and monitor the reactor system. You create logs and documentation. You are responsible for the operation of the plant and disturbance analyses as an operator*in the day service. You organize recurring tests and preventive maintenance.

completed training as an investment mechanic, ideally with additional qualification as a technician, e.g. for pipe, sewer and industrial service, technical system planner*in the field of supply and equipment technology, or related professions in process engineering, air conditioning and ventilation technology or mechanical engineering mastery of the German language on C2 level high communication and team capability fun to acquire new skills and willingness to continue efficient and structured operation with a high degree of self-organisation desirable: presence of the technical certificate desirable: knowledge in the relevant nuclear regulations, such as StrlSchG / StrlSchV, KTA control unit
