The main tasks include the programming of detector, embedded and application software, as well as the development of new product software for testing and operating support Working in all phases of new product developments and introductions: concept, architecture, documentation, design, prototyping, testing, supplier and customer interface definition, production launch, production support and production optimization, and service support Development and maintenance of production software and production database Development of new product software, system software and test software Development and development of a simulation and test infrastructure to minimize dependency on hardware availability Close cooperation with an interdisciplinary team to determine requirements and design Ensure the reliability of products through close cooperation with suppliers and error analysis of complex electronic/digital imaging systems Participation in the selection, qualification and evaluation of new suppliers (FAI process) in coordination with the respective areas involved (QS & R&D) Verification and validation according to design process and creation of designs using software development methods to ensure reliability in product development lifecycle

Complete study of Computer Science / Software Engineering / Technical Informatics / Embedded Systems / Computer Engineering (Bachelor, Master, Diplom) or comparable qualification Focus ideally: Embedded Software, C/C++, Linux, hardware-related development Multiannual comprehensive professional experience in software programming, software design and simulation tools is required Ideal focus: Embedded software, C/C++, Linux, hardware-related development Good knowledge of the development of embedded systems as well as the handling of Linux and Windows platforms and network protocols including Sockets, TCP/UDP, IP Project experience in all project phases Good written and oral communication skills German & English (mndst. Level B2) Desired: Programming skills in Python, Java, SQL Working in an ISO 13485 certified environment
