Head of the Adhesive Bonding Technology Department (m/f/d)

Planning of personnel needs, creation of personnel plans and professional and disciplinary management of the department, including promotion of employee development deriving and implementing the department strategy in line with the objectives of industrial engineering, controlling projects for efficiency enhancement, automation and digitization Responsibility for work planning, machine and personnel deployment planning, on-time order implementation and optimization of manufacturing processes under ergonomic, technical and economic aspects Acquisition of annual investment and budget planning, monitoring of cost center planning and implementation of monthly accounts Monitoring of process indicators such as throughput times, set-up times, timeliness and quality, introduction of improvement measures and responsibility as contact persons for specialist areas, subcontractors and quality checkpoints Implementation of risk assessments, compliance with environmental protection guidelines and legal, operational and tariff requirements Management of educational needs planning and organisation of cross-departmental training measures for targeted employee support Coordination of manufacturing and change processes, organization and moderation of Shopfloor Management Level 2 meetings as well as close cooperation with Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Planning, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Quality and Development

Complete technical or commercial training, training as master/technician, technical study or comparable qualification Multiannual experience in adhesive technology or in a manufacturing company, ideally with leadership experience Funded knowledge in production, assembly, adhesive techniques as well as practice as adhesive practitioners or adhesive Secure handling of SAP and common office tools Experience in Lean Methods like Shopfloor Management, 5S and Continuous Improvement Processes (KVP) Outstanding leadership competence, communication strength, enforcing ability and sense of responsibility Analytical skills, team skills, empathy, resilience, innovation joy, readiness to change and high organisational skills and self-employment Very good German knowledge in word and writing, as well as ideal English knowledge
