The operating asset management has the role of the internal client for network projects at TransnetBW. For this purpose, the regional target network necessary for the implementation of the energy transition in Baden-Württemberg, as well as intermediate networks, renewal requirements of our transmission network and further measures in the existing network are planned. These plans are incorporated into long-term concepts for the development of the substations and management systems and are transferred to projects. They coordinate the network and electrotechnical planning in the network development projects of the TransnetBW. They evaluate feasibility analyses and decide on this basis on how to implement the project. They evaluate complex network states and optimize them across the project. They carry out load flow and short-circuit calculations as well as default calculations or evaluate the results of third parties. They organise and moderate voting and make decisions.

You have a degree (Bachelor/Master) in electrical engineering, electrical energy systems, industrial engineering or a comparable subject. You have relevant experience in network planning of a network operator or have become familiar with network calculations during your studies. They ideally have good knowledge of the application of current planning software and procedures (integral, PowerFactory or Redispatch) and can quickly work into new software programs. They have an analytical conception and a structured and independent way of working. They can analyse complex, cross-disciplinary relationships, bring together and communicate properly. You are interested in developing processes and like to keep an overview of the overall picture.
