Creation and implementation of product group strategies Analysis of global procurement markets, cost structures and supplier portfolios Creation of bidder lists incl. Defining suppliers Control of strategic supplier management incl. Selection, evaluation, development and negotiations Implementation of complex contract and price negotiations at national and international level Support for investment and large-scale projects (Make-or-Buy analyses, tenders, awards) bundles of investment needs, find synergies Identification of potential procurement risks and development of appropriate countermeasures Representation of the assigned product groups as a technical expert (m/w/d) Planning and tracking of savings (Forecast) Creation of savings forecasts, monitoring of target achievement and deriving measures

The location can be occupied at all Rheinmetall locations.

Complete studies in the field of economic engineering, business management, mechanical engineering or comparable Multiannual professional experience in strategic purchasing/commodity management, ideally in the industrial CAPEX environment Knowledge of strategic and operational purchasing in the international environment Very good negotiating and communication skills, up to management level High competence in stakeholder management, especially in dealing with interdisciplinary and global teams Experiences in the moderation of meetings, workshops and negotiation rounds, including conflict solutions and decision-making Analytical, structured and entrepreneurial thinking Safe handling of ERP systems and common MS Office applications German and English knowledge in word and writing readiness to travel to see supplier visits, negotiations and international project agreements
