4-70/26-D Future with Tradition – Making Science: The Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg (MLU) offers a wide range of subjects in the humanities, social, natural and medical sciences. The oldest and largest university in Saxony-Anhalts was founded in 1817 from the merger of the universities in Wittenberg (1502) and Hall (1694). Today she has 340 professors and 20,000 students. Their research focuses on materials and biosciences, education and social and cultural research. At the Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg, Faculty of Medicine, University Hospital and Polyclinic for Gynecology, AG Global and Planetary Health, the temporary position of a doctor*Arztes (m-w-d) in part-time (80%) is to be occupied from 01.01.2027. Depending on the transfer of tasks and the fulfilment of the personal requirements, the remuneration is up to the remuneration group A1 TV doctors.

Work tasks:

• Medical and scientific activity in the project “It takes two to tango: a synergistic approach to humanmachine decision making-TANGO”
• Differential diagnosis of medical findings
• Medical anamnese, clinical diagnostics and examination
• Scientific activities in a multicentric supply research project funded by the BMBF on adaptation to heat for pregnant women in rural North Ghanas
• Coordination and cooperation in project-related work packages
• Design, design and testing of different modules to improve self-management
• Participation in scientific evaluations

Requirements:

• Complete scientific study of human medicine
• Approbation as a doctor
• Funded scientific and practical knowledge of human medicine including anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, pharmacology and evidence-based diagnostics and therapy
• Comprehensive knowledge of prevention, diagnostics, treatment and aftercare of acute and chronic
• Diseases Safe diagnostic and therapeutic approach including anamnese, clinical examination and interpretation of clinical, laboratory and imaging findings
• knowledge of current medical guidelines and their application in patient care and clinical research
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), study law, research ethics and data protection legal requirements in clinical research Safe handling of medical documentation systems as well as scientific data analysis and data management
• Embossed communication and organizational skills and readiness to continue professional and scientific training very good knowledge of English language very good German knowledge in word and writing Experiences in research desirable (preferably supply research) flexibility, team spirit, independent and targeted working style Safe handling of MS office software
• scientific creativity and independence are particularly desirable
• Organizational talent and strong team skills
