Senior Full Stack Engineer (m/f/d)

You're expecting In our Europe-wide e-commerce system, you design and implement everything about account, identity management and checkout. You work with other engineers and business stakeholders in an interdisciplinary product team and participate in the software architecture together with our solution architect. For support in programming, you have up-to-date IDEs and a completely container-based virtualized server environment on your computer. You design the technical quality of the team results through design discussions, code reviews and mentoring, and you are looking for a contact person:in for external colleagues. You help translate the needs of the departments into good user stories, and support product management in planning projects and tasks to deliver good software together with the team.

Multiannual professional experience in software development in the e-commerce environment. Experience in project management or agile procedures, a good understanding of software architecture and fun in developing technical solutions. You have very good knowledge of PHP, REST, SQL (e.g. PostgreSQL) and message brokers (e.g. RabbitMQ, Kafka). Optionally you have experience with Python. As a full stack developer, you have worked with JavaScript frameworks and front-end components (e.g. React, Angular or Vue.js). You are convinced by your own initiative, a pronounced hands-on mentality and your organizational talent. You will certainly communicate in German and English – both in talks about good program design and in exchanges about professional requirements and business tips, in order to convey your colleagues in application development in a targeted manner. DevOps concepts like containerization, scripting and CI/CD pipelines are familiar to you and are fun.
