Then you will be part of our global team as a specialist in occupational medicine with management function (w/m/d) to ensure the health protection of our employees with your team.

This position is to be taken both in full time (40 hours/week) and in parttime (min. 30 hours/week).

Your tasks and responsibilities:

• As part of the Environmental, Work and Health Organisation at Siemens Healthineers, you take over the role of the leading company physician in accordance with §8 ASiG at our world's largest locations in Erlangen and Forchheim and are responsible for the disciplinary leadership and the continuous development of employees of the occupational medical teams. They control and coordinate internal processes, ensure efficient work organisation and promote trusting, collegial cooperation in the occupational health team. They make a significant contribution to the further development of the medical performance portfolio in occupational health management and actively contribute to local occupational health promotion.

• They carry out occupational medical examinations according to legal and company internal requirements. They advise employees and managers and other stakeholders on all issues of health protection, prevention and ergonomic workplace design and occupational reintegration by disease. They actively contribute to the risk assessment and the derivation of appropriate protective measures. They accompany operational health management and support the implementation of jointly developed health programs.

Strategy, Quality & Development

• They follow current developments in the field of occupational medicine, prevention and occupational safety and transfer them to practice. They ensure compliance with legal regulations and internal quality standards and document medical services legally safe.- They work closely with the work security service, personnel area, works council and other interfaces.

Your qualifications and experience:

• They are a specialist in occupational medicine or possess the additional name of occupational medicine. They have a further specialist qualification from the field of patient care and have further additional qualifications, such as in emergency medicine They have many years of professional experience in the occupational medical care of globally active companies as well as in the implementation of related occupational medical examinations including travel medical advice. They have very well-founded knowledge of the legal basis, in particular of the Industrial Protection Act, the ArbMedVV, DGUV regulations and relevant medical guidelines. They bring experience in the management or coordination of medical teams – alternatively a pronounced motivation to take responsibility in a management function. They have deepened expertise in the fields of: prevention and health promotion ergonomics and workplace-related risk analysis- assessment of complex occupational health issues- monitoring of reintegration processes and operational integration measures.

• A training authorization for occupational medicine is desirable. They have demonstrable experience in working with operational interfaces such as occupational safety, personnel, works council and other relevant stakeholders such as executives and know the operational processes in health and safety at work. Ideally, you bring experience in the construction or further development of occupational medical structures and processes. They bring high openness to digitized work processes, see technological developments as an opportunity and apply common office applications safely and routined.

• They convince with outstanding communicative skills in German and English and understand how to convey medical content clearly, understandably and addressably – both to employees and to managers and other stakeholders. They have a pronounced empathic feeling in dealing with people and can professionally, solution-oriented and sovereignly moderate complex situations. They have a high level of sense of responsibility, integrity and decision-making, especially in sensitive or safety-relevant issues. They bring a high degree of organizational competence and can effectively control both strategic thinking and operational tasks. They are characterized by a structured, precise and service-oriented way of working and keep an overview even with high performance. You have the ability to constructively accompany changes, motivate employees and professionally guide a team. A pronounced ability to build a network as well as a safe occurrence to internal and external partners round off your profile. They show willingness to continue training and follow current developments in occupational medicine with great interest.
