Development, specification and programming of PLC control systems as well as visualization systems (e.g. Siemens S7 / TIA Portal, Beckhoff TwinCAT) for machines and systems within the framework of innovative R&E projects
Conception and implementation of new control and automation concepts including selection of suitable hardware (SPS, I/O systems, drives, sensor technology)
Implementation of commissioning and functional testing in the internal test field and occasional with the customer – including analysis, troubleshooting and optimization
Development of our software base libraries, standard building blocks and templates for the sustainable standardization of recurring tasks
Creation of technical specifications, test plans and project documentation taking into account internal quality standards and relevant standards
Close cooperation with design and project management as well as technical support in the supply and costing phase
Observation of technological trends (e.g. Industry 4.0, networking, diagnostics) and active introduction of new impulses into our development projects
Complete study of electrical engineering, automation technology, mechatronics, computer science or comparable qualification (e.g. state-tested technician/master with relevant professional experience)
Funded knowledge in PLC programming, ideally with Siemens TIA Portal / S7 and/or Beckhoff TwinCAT
Experience with HMI systems (e.g. WinCC) of advantage
Practical experience in the development or commissioning of machine and plant controls – ideally in the R&D or development environment
knowledge of drive technology, fieldbus systems (e.g. Profibus, Profinet, EtherCAT) and sensor technology and actuators desirable
Structured, analytical and solution-oriented mode of operation and pleasure in experimental and iterative work
Team skills, communication strength and willingness to interdisciplinary cooperation
Good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
