Head of Data Science - Machine Learning / AI (m/f/d)

You analyze complex data stocks with Python (pandas, sklearn) and SQL to gain valuable insights for our product development through machine learning models (e.g. clustering, forecasting). As a Sparring Partner for Product Management and Management, you translate analysis results into understandable insights and guide strategic action recommendations. You take over the professional leadership of our data team, promote the individual development of your colleagues through mentoring and further expand the area in perspective. Together with the management, you develop the long-term data strategy and actively promote the establishment of a company-wide data culture. You establish and manage data science best practices, from code reviews to ensuring data quality, to create sustainable and robust solutions.

Basis & Experience: You bring a completed study (e.g. computer science, statistics) or a comparable qualification as well as multiannual relevant professional experience in the field of data science. Tech-Stack: You master SQL and Python (incl. pandas, sklearn) excellent and have profound experience with machine learning methods (e.g. forecasting, clustering) as well as deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow. Business Focus & Communication: You think beyond algorithms, understand business relationships, and you can easily translate complex data analyses for different stakeholders into concrete action recommendations. Leadership potential: You have the will to initiate a team professionally, develop colleagues and take strategic responsibility – first leadership experience is a clear plus, but no condition. AI Mintset & Analysis: You work structured, enjoy analyzing large amounts of data and see AI tools like LLMs as a natural part of your work to raise new potentials. Languages: You speak German (mind. C1) and good English. Knowledge in Java or Mixpanel are a welcome extra.
