Your tasks:

• Development of system requirements in coordination with the customer
• Design and planning of vehicle functions
• Create technical specifications of subsystem functions (system engineering)
• System design, component selection and coordination with suppliers
• creation of technical concepts, specifications and Functional schematics
• Work with modern CAE tools
• Norm research and documentation production
• Cooperation with other departments (software engineering, mechanical engineering, safety, etc.)

Your profile:

• completed studies or further training for the technician/master, preferably electrical engineering, automation technology, mechatronics or comparable
• Interest in transport and mobility Rail transport AND/OR
• First experience with a power grid software (Zuken E3, EPLAN) P8, ELCAD or Engineering Base)
• Basic knowledge of control hardware and development (SPS, control and visualization systems, bus systems)
• knowledge of vehicle networking (CAN, Ethernet, etc.) -Expressed analytical skills, communication strength and independent work
