A research, technology and transfer unit will be set up at the Stiftung Tierarzthochschule Hannover (TiHo) under the umbrella of the research and transfer service. The aim of the unit is, inter alia, to systematically support translational research and development processes and to strengthen the structural prerequisites for a successful transfer of scientific results into application-oriented contexts. Your duties Construction and further development of a central contact and consultancy office for researchers and companies on questions of translational transfer, in particular: advisory and support of scientists from TiHo in the design and implementation of translational studies along the preclinical-clinical development path Support for study planning, application and coordination of regulatory approval processes taking into account regulatory requirements (e.g. GxP standards, relevant EU regulations) Development and development of quality assurance structures for transfer-oriented services (e.g. quality management, licensing processes) Initiation and support of cooperation projects and contract research projects Active development, maintenance and strategic development of a network with industrial partners, SMEs, start-ups and other external actors in the area of TiHo's research priorities Participation in the strategic development of the TiHo transfer and study infrastructure
Successfully completed relevant university studies (animal medicine, medicine, natural sciences or life science) Detectable experience in transfer management, study management, research coordination or comparable interface functions Very good communication skills in German and English (in word and writing) Required expertise and personal skills Knowledge of the planning, implementation and coordination of preclinical and/or clinical studies, ideally in the veterinary medical context Experience in building and developing quality management structures Knowledge in cooperation management, preferably in the context of contract research or public-private partnerships Impressed communication and counselling skills in dealing with researchers and the ability to communicate complex regulatory and transfer-related issues in an address-oriented and practical manner
