SWKiel Netz GmbH operates the power and gas distribution network in Kiel and the surrounding area. The core tasks include the operation, maintenance and continuous expansion and modernisation of the distribution network to meet the growing requirements of the energy transition. Stop is not an option! With around 300 employees, SWKiel Netz GmbH guarantees the high supply reliability and quality that is at the focus. The tasks in the technical operation of the networks (maintenance, maintenance, repair and destruction) of all divisions (electricity, gas, water and also district heating) are within the operation department in a group. In the course of the succession control, SWKiel Netz GmbH seeks a pragmatic-solution-oriented leadership in the role as Group leader: in network operation Electricity / gas / water / district heating – management of a large operating unit at regional network operator

You are constantly stabilising the requirements your group needs for security of supply and smooth network operation! It is necessary to lift efficiency and to control the daily business in direct and indirect management. The district heating is to be integrated even more into the group. The task in detail: Leadership and development of your 36-member group and with a good example: They control the implementation of decommissioning and maintenance measures for the construction and operation of all divisions (core task is the decommissioning). You keep quiet when it gets more challenging around you. You keep the team together, are contact persons:in your team, you will lead with empathy and specialist knowledge, and keep the employees' back organizationally free. They always look over the plate rim and work with asset management across departments and groups, for example for maintenance strategies. They control external service companies (e.g. civil engineering, pipeline construction). They are an important part of crisis management.

You are welcome to have a (special) university degree, preferably with an engineering-scientific orientation (e.g. mechanical engineering, utility technology, electrical engineering, energy technology, shipbuilding) Multiannual professional experience, ideally from an energy and water supply company or from a related or adjacent area (e.g. from the service provider, engineering office or shipbuilding or a manufacturing company with its own energy supply) Affinity for deepened integration into DVGW regulations and occupational safety regulations
