The New Ways New Opportunities gGmbH offers outpatient help for people, as individual help in the everyday and life-structural field.

With these aids, we help people who are temporarily unable to meet their everyday obligations from their own power to develop a new perspective. In the long term, we are pursuing the goal of reintegrating our customers into the social relationships. Our services are provided on behalf of the country of Lower Saxony, in cooperation with municipalities and counties.

Your task is to activate, motivation, accompaniment, guidance, support and help in the areas of the daily life of our customers, for example:

• They support everyday life
• They develop a personal and professional perspective together and help to develop a meaningful daily structure
• You have an open ear for problems and support solutions to find
• You help find an apartment or get the existing apartment
• They support the planning of the monthly budget
• You attend doctor visits or appointments with authorities or other institutions
• They help to learn to deal with problems and fears
• They support leisure activities.

We are looking:

for our locations in Salzgitter (Bad), Uslar, Einbeck and Göttingen, each one or more employees in full-time or part-time (work times according to agreement) for the support of our customers.

– have either a degree of study or a vocational training as a social worker, social pedagogue, (experimental/ leisure) pedagogue, medical education/in, sociologist/in, specialist in healthcare and social services, philosopher/in, psychologist/in, in social sciences or in a comparable study or are addiction, drug counsellor/in, street worker/in, education. Nurse, Senior Caregiver, Ergotherapist, Social Therapist, Social Assistant and/or have obtained a comparable qualification through an activity in a profession. – are reliable and durable – go to people and are communicative – have a positive basic attitude, which includes acceptance and empathy – depressive, propulsive or addictive people – work organized and do not hesitate to conduct correspondence – have a secure German language and a trained handling of Word and basic knowledge in Excel, handling PCs and sending emails.
